Recent Past Projects
Our work has allowed us to meet and work with some interesting and wonderful people over the years, and we find it rewarding to serve independent businesses in West Virginia.
Water Stone Outdoors
WSO is the hub of all things rock climbing in southern West Virginia. Since 1994, They have earned a respected reputation nationally and have developed a unique company culture. We tried hard to include as much of this as possible into the look and feel of their web site. In addition to the design, we developed a method of production to continually add fresh, entertaining and informative content - including over 140 videos. We also created an online retail store with a rapidly growing inventory of rock climbing and outdoor gear.
DiOGi's Mexican Bar and Grill
DiOGi's is Fayetteville's best Mexican Restaurant. Opening their doors in Fall of 2008, they have already expanded locations and acquired a following of addicted customers. One of our goals with the web site was to capitalize on their location near US Route 19, a heavily traveled throughway. In addition to this, we helped them acquire their domain, provided a custom graphic layout, web video and event coverage. Check out the footage from the 2009 Cinco de Mayo Burrito Eating Contest.
Gauley River Rapids
This combined my skills and enthusiasm for whitewater paddling, videography and web site creation. The site contains over 70 videos, aerial photos, action shots and written rapid descriptions. Our goal with Gauley River Rapids is to be a source of information and entertainment, and to increase general interest in whitewater rafting on the Gauley River. The site performs extremely well in the search engines for nearly all words relating to the Gauley River, and this prominence brings increased exposure and positive marketing to the the web site sponsor ACE Adventure Center.
Gourmet on the Gorge
Whether she knows it or not, Joy Marr was my first client as a self employed web designer. I love the way her site has evolved, and I think that it has a special charm that stems from the fact that she has had such an active role in creating the content for the web site. In my mind, her site and catering enterprise are a great success. Since 2006 she has had dozens of inquiries from the web site and I can tell that she is as busy as she wants to be with a variety of different cooking related activities. We also created a web site and booking/payment system for her River Rock Retreat and Hostel near the New River Gorge Bridge in Lansing.
